Congratulations Green team, Summer '19 Champions
We have not been able to hold formal play since mid-March because of closed facilities. We are very sad about the loss of our Spring and Summer seasons, but we respect our facilities' decisions to err on the side of minimized risk. We hope to be back in the Fall -- stay tuned!
As of Summer '19, we have a new logo. We are the Triangle Lemurs!
As we considered a team mascot, we kept returning to the idea of lemurs. For one reason, Durham, NC has more lemurs than any other place in the world, aside from Madagascar, because of the Duke Lemur Center. TFHL got its start at Duke in Summer '14, just a couple miles away from the Lemur Center. Also, lemurs are known for their diversity, and as a league, we have a wide range of players, from all over and of all ages. Also, lemurs are not popular mascots, so we love the uniqueness of it! Finally, that expressive lemur tail can resemble a field hockey stick.

Triangle Field Hockey League is a co-ed group open to all ages and levels. Our players range from former international and D1 athletes to folks returning to the sport after years away to talented high schoolers looking to improve their game. We play year-round and draw members from Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and other communities in and around the Triangle area of North Carolina. We love playing hockey and welcome anyone who does, too!
