As of Summer '19, we have a new logo. We are the Triangle Lemurs!

Why the Triangle Lemurs?

As we considered a team mascot, we kept returning to the idea of lemurs. For one reason, Durham, NC has more lemurs than any other place in the world, aside from Madagascar, because of the Duke Lemur Center. TFHL got its start at Duke in Summer '14, just a couple miles away from the Lemur Center. Also, lemurs are known for their diversity, and as a league, we have a wide range of players, from all over and of all ages. Also, lemurs are not popular mascots, so we love the uniqueness of it! Finally, that expressive lemur tail can resemble a field hockey stick.

We play year-round and draw members from Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and other communities in and around the Triangle area of North Carolina.
