Summer Outdoor League

Summer Outdoor Information

Who?

TFHL - we will split into several co-ed teams, must be a freshman in high school or older to be eligible to play.  All skill levels accepted.
After you register your board members and team captains will meet to split everyone into teams, this often happens 1-2 weeks after the season has started.

 

What?
Teams will play in a round-robin league consisting of 6 games. There will be a single elimination playoffs at the end of the summer. Games will be full field, 11v11, with 25 minute halves and 5 minutes for half time.  The remaining sessions will be pick-up scrimmages where players are all mixed together.

The number of teams will vary based on the number of participants. In the past, we've had 4 full teams.

Where?
Games will be played at Duke University's Jack Katz Stadium on east campus.  Address: 20 Brodie Gym Dr., Durham, NC 27708

Click here for more field details .  Please note - No cleats allowed.   Street parking and the 705 Broad St parking lot is available.  Do not park in the Whole Foods lot, they will tow you.

 

When?

Late May - early August.

Exact dates will be published closer to the season and will be available on the registration link.

 

How Much?
We try to keep our costs as low as possible, in the past the cost has been  ~$90-110 (plus ~$20 late fee if registering past a certain date), but this is subject change year to year.  Once registration for Summer is available the exact price can be found on that form. 


Other
We are looking for officials! If you have experience or interest in officiating, please let us know. Officials get paid for each game! Please contact our umpire coordinator Noah den Hartog by emailing noah.denhartog@gmail.com.
